#98: Africa
We're only 3 games into the countdown and we've already reached our second Knizia... his Africa received an underwhelming response from some gamers upon its release. However, as this list proves, it does have quite a loyal following. Enough of a following, in fact, to earn its spot on the Top 100 Games of All Time Without Question. Ladies & gentlemen, I give you #98...

Very simple to play and usually the choices are pretty obvious. Still . . . Africa is oddly compelling and I never turn down a game. The board is huge and beautiful, the bits are very nice. There is room for some clever play which makes this a game worth playing.
The choices for maximizing an individual turn are fairly obvious; the choices to maximizing future scoring far less so, IMHO.
